Compare and contrast selected communities by review and interpretation of data

Potential Activities
Students compare two or more ecosystems, compile data from them, and note such ecological principles as interaction, succession, population, and micro climate. The communities may include bush, field, pond or stream. Examination of animals, plants, soil, weather and human impact may be included. Emphasis is placed on encouraging students to discover the differences in communities, the interrelationships of organisms, and the constant change occurring in the environment.
