Goals
Distinguish between types of boomerangs and their uses.
Experience throwing a boomerang.
Recognise that boomerangs can be used for fun, not just for hunting.

Potential Activities
An initial discussion highlights the different types and uses of boomerangs in
Victoria. Students are given detailed instruction, and subsequently, opportunity to throw boomerangs. Explanation and observation of strict safety guidelines ensure students’ protection and enjoyment.
