Potential Activities
Students are transformed into saviours of life on earth in this scenario, where
water is toxic, oxygen is scarce, and the contents of three barrels offer a slim hope to repair the planet, and prevent complete extinction. Teams compete to each build a raft using their barrels and cross water to dismantle the raft and deposit the precious barrels at the designated success point. If part of any team member is submerged in ‘toxic water’, the entire team must return to the departure shore for a 1 minute ‘first aid’ penalty. The reward for the winners is worldwide acclaim and the restoration of all life on earth.
