WEAPONS AND ARTIFACTS
Goals
View and examine a variety of traditional weapons and objects.
Learn the methods for use and construction of these items
Interact personally with traditional tools (fire-sticks).

Potential Activities
Students are introduced with general explanations to a large display of
artefacts including weapons, stone tools and firesticks. A more in-depth examination follows of fire-sticks – the materials used to make (soft/hard woods) and to use them (combustible materials). Students then have an opportunity to light a fire using the tools under close supervision.
