Experience Jungai
The meeting place for Indigenous Culture and Environmental Education

The Jungai Centre offers a unique and convenient camping experience for school children of all ages.

You will be surprised at what you find at Jungai. Your school group will experience camping at its very best. Through interactive and fun activities, students are encouraged to develop awareness of themselves, others and the natural world through Koori Culture and environmental education.

Australian Camping Association

The Jungai Centre is an accredited campsite.

Jungai (which means meeting place) was established in 1972 by a co-operative of visionary Aboriginal people from the Department of Aboriginal Affairs. The centre was designed to promote race reconciliation, teach indigenous culture and offer a meeting and teaching place for indigenous and non-indigenous groups.
